The precision investment casting specialists at R2 Quality Castings worked diligently to recreate each part of this authentic reproduction of the famed .58 caliber Peabody percussion rifle for Frank Wierus. Every aspect of this rifle was ahead of its time. Other Civil War rifles could not come close to it for accuracy, durability and ease of use.
R2 Quality Castings used precision investment casting to duplicate the precise workings of the rifle. All drawings and molds were long lost. Careful work and a strong attention to detail resulted in the beautiful reproduction which can be seen above. Only the finest materials were used to recreate this classic rifle.
